[by telegraph—own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday Plans for remodelling the Hamilton library with the object of providing more space in the lending department were considered at a meeting of the library committee to-night. Tho scheme was adopted and referred to the Borough Council for approval. It was decided to increase the salaries of the staff by 5 per cent, retrospective to August 12. The committee agreed to close the reading room on Sundays.
