BEGINNING THE DAY
(Contributed by the Council of Christian Congregations.) Text.—For the love of Christ constraineth us. 2 Corinthians, 5; 14. Prayer.—Lord Jesus, conscious of Thy great sacrificial love for me which constrained Thee to leave all Thy riches in glory to come and die for me, 1 pray Tlieo that Thou would'et help me to love Thee more. Lord Jesus kindle in my heart a deeper and more abiding love for Thyself and things eternal. Teach me also to love the dying souls of men and give me love, pure Calvary love, to bring the lost to Thee. Amen.
