MODERN CRUISER
Work is well advanced on Air. P. R. Colebrook's fine 42ft. cruiser Manunui in her shed in the Hobson Bay basin. This fine craft lias many useful fittings, having a modern gas stove fitted in the well-equipped galley aft. There is ample head room throughout. The power plant is a 55 'horse-power Diesel engine which is housed under the bridge-deck flooring amidships. A feature of the craft, which is triple-skinned, is a small cockpit right up in the bows which seats three persons, the flared bow ensuring that the occupants remain dry, even in a heavy sea. There is still a lot of work to be done to Mr, R. B. Wilson's 36ft. Paikea, housed in the same locality. SERVICES RECOGNISED Reference to the valuable work performed for the club by Mr. G. E.
