THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE SOUTH BRITISH ADVANCE \ A wide range of dealing was completed on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday when values maintained a firm trend. The demand for Government loans again completely outran the supply, but some business was obtained in bonds at steady to dearer rates. Interest quickened in insurance following tlio announcement of the South British dividend and bonus. These shares, which were sought at 48s in the morning, had buyers at 50s. at the final call, with no sellers. Industrial and trading issues remained in good demand around current levels.
