FORTY-HOUR WEEK
A PLEA FOR VARIATION Tlie belief that some variation of the 40-hour week would be made for hospital employees was expressed by the chairman of the Hospital Board, Mr. Allan J. Moody, at a meeting of the board last night. He considered the variation should be made on account of the war. "The sooner the unions wake up the better," Mr. Moody said. "We to get more than a 40-hour week a present.
