Two prominent billiards players, L. Holdsworth and J. Shopherd, wore eliminated when the Auckland open snooker tourney was continued last evening. Following woro tho results: —W. Knott beat L. Holdsworth, 41 —04, 59—46, 08 —26; W. Whylo beat J. Shepherd, 59—04. 57—41, 81—19. Following are tho games for to-night:—C. Cummins v. D. Watson, 7 p.m.; B. North v. R. Miller, 7.30 p.m.; G. Lamb v. K. Tait, 8.30 p.m.
