I ___ «, „ CHILDREN IN ENGLAND WORK OF GIRL GUIDES The New Zealand Girl Guides have just packed and forwarded to their London headquarters another six cases of garments to be distributed to refugee children in England. Altogether 1000 garments and 150 woollen blankets were sent on .this occasion, the value being approximately £3OO. The clothes ranged from all manner of baby garments to dresses and knitted clothes for girls of 15 or 16 years of age. Clothes for small boys were also included. All the materials were ne\r and for winter wear, and care and attention was given to the finishing of the articles to make them look attractive. Brownies, guides and rangers shared in the sewing and to many of the garments were attached small notes carrying kindly messages from the New Zealand Girl Guides.
