DEATH AT 106 YEARS

KATERURI MATCHITt ;f [by TELE&RAI'H —OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI, Thursday The death has occurred of Opotiki's oldest resident, Mrs. Katcruri Matchitt, who was reputed to he 106 years old. She was over 30 years of ag9: when the Rev. Curl Volkner was murdered at Opotiki in 1565. She was married to Colonel.
