CARTAGE CONTRACTS
SUBJECT TO DAIRY COMPANIES OBJECT [from our own correspondent] . HAMILTON, Thursday A remit to be considered by the next dairy conference was adopted by the South Auckland Dairy Association today, asking that dairy companies should have the unfettered right to enter into contracts with carriers for the cartage of cream. It was stated that in the recent schedule of prices adopted by the No. 1 Licensing Authority provision was made for all contracts to be perused by the New Zealand Road Alliance,, and if an operator considered the price lie had given to be unsatisfactory, that price could be reviewed by the Licensing. Authority. Strong exception to'these provisions was made by the association.
