THE FRANKLIN ZONE [from ouu OWN coiuiF.sroNnKNT PUKEKOHE, Sunday An enthusiastic meeting of the Franklin Women's Patriotic Committee held on Thursday was attended by representatives from Pukekohe, Buckland, Tuakau, Mangatawhiri, MangatangiMiranda, Pokeno, Ararimu, Bombay, Pukekohe East, Papakura, Paerata, Aka Aka, Glenbrook, Waipipi, Awhitu and Waiau Pa. All the allocations made by tho Auckland Provincial Council for gift parcels, balaclavas, Air Force gloves, scarves, mittens and hussifs are being steadily filled. ( The Lady Galway Guild has forwarded 2346 articles, contained in 13 cases, ready for shipping to London. It was decided to call a public meeting to form a Women's War Service Auxiliary to co-ordinate all women's patriotic organisations in the zone in the near future.
