LOCAL BODY ELECTIONS
[from our own correspondent] TAURANGA, Saturday The Tauranga Harbour Board passed a resolution expressing the opinion that it was inadvisable to postpone local body elections for such an indefinite period as the duration of the war. The board was in favour of postponing the elections for a year and reconsidering the question at the end of th.it period.
