BATGER.—On Jnly 26, at a private hospital, Harold William, son of the late John Batger, of Mount Eden, and dearly-loved father of Guy Batcrer; aged 74 years. Service at W. Morrison's chapol, 367 Parnell Road, at > 2.30 p.m., Monday, funeral leaving after service for Purewa.

BERRY.—On July 25, 1940, at Central Otago, Eva, beloved wife of the late Henry Berry, of Timaru, and daughter of the late G. E. and E. J. "White, of Paknranga.

CAPILL.—On July 25, at the residence of her niece, 445 Manukau Road, Epsom, Selina, loved aunt of Sue Cragg, in her 73rd year.

The funeral will leave C. H. Barker's chapel, Queen Street. Onchunga, for Hillsborough Cemetery, to-day (Saturday), at 1.30 p.m.

CUTFJELD On July 23, 1940, at his late residence, Te Toro, Waiuku (suddenly), Gerald,. dearly-loved husband of Mrs. Cutfield; aged 57 years. Interred yesterday at Waiuku.
