FAMILY PRAYERS

Sir, —We are a family of three. We have decided that when we meet at 10 a.m. each day for a cup of tea we will hold a two-minutes' silence.

We pray for Britain and the British Empire. We acknowledge our sins and the sins of humanity. Wo pray that the cause of right and justice may prevail. We pray for politicians, soldiers, sailors, airmen, for prisoners of war, for the sick, wounded and dying, lor the fearful and the unbelieving. We ask that God's light may shine upon all nations, and implore that they may not reject it, so that an abiding peace may prevail upon the earth. We Turkic.
