Steps to incorporate the Waikato Rugby Union were approved at n meeting of the union's management committee on Friday evening. In a League fooltmll match played at Davics Park, Huntly, yesterday, before a good attendance, an augmented Manukau team defeated the South Auckland representative* in a spectacular game by points to 11. Manukau led at half-time by 12 points to 4, but South Auckland evened, at 14-all. The visitors continued to throw the ball about in thrilling style, and the final try was scored by Te Tai, who handled twice in the move. J. Brodrick was hurt in the first half and replaced by Briggs (Ponsonby), and Taylor replaced Wilkinson tor South Auckland.
