POLICE COURT NEWS
TWO ACCUSED REMANDED Arrested in TCcmuera Road on Friday, Loftus Bernard l?ca, aged 23, comnierci.il traveller (Mr. Ackins), appeared before justices in the Police Court on Saturday, charged with being found intoxicated in charge of a motor-car. On the application of Senior-Sergeant Joyce, accused was remanded until tomorrow, bail of £SO, with a surety of £SO, being renewed. An Australian carpenter employed at Whenuapai, John Joseph Graham, aged 35 (Mr. Ackins), was charged with stealing a saw valued at £1 5s from James Melnerney on Tuesday, and was remanded until Friday on bail of £2O, with a suretv for £2O.
