EXHIBITION BUILDINGS
The Centennial Exhibition buildings at Rongotai. "Wellington, until recently the Dominion's principal holiday attnict'on, will henceforth be known as Royal New Zealand Air Force Station, "ongotai, Technical Training Centre, and Xo. 2 Stores Depot." Durintr recent w .ccks the area has been invaded by an army of carpenters, plumbers, and electricians. all busy altering the interior °r the buildings to suit Air Force requirements and to provide modern barrack accommodation for the 800 officers a nd other ranks who will live and work 0r train there. From the outside the "lain buildings still look very much the same, but inside little sign of the Exhibition remains.
