MEN OF SECOND ECHELON [BY TELEGRAM! —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Saturday Referring to recent statements on the question of postage payable by members of the New Zealand Forces in the United Kingdom, the. Hon. PC. Webb stated to-day that official advice had been received from the High Commissioner,. Mr. W. J. Jordan, that free postage had been arranged lor letters to New Zealand posted by the troops. The privilege of free postage was enjoyed by members of the Second Echelon while on board ship and tins concession was continued on arrival at their destination pending completion of final arrangements with the Unit"! Kingdom postal authorities.
