FOUR PEOPLE HURT

COLLISION AT TE AROHA [from OUR OWN correspondent] HAMILTON. Sunday Four people were admitted to hospital as the result of a violent collisionbetween two motor-cars in To Aroha yesterday.-The accident occurred at the corner of McLaren's Koad and Alexander Koad, the drivers of the cars being Mr. H. Penrhvs Evans, of Waitakaruru, and Mr. Edwin Ward, of Putaruru. After tlio collision, ZN tr. Evans' car crossed the road, crashed into a post and turned over three times. Mr. Evans and his son, Mr. J. Evans, were admitted to a private hospital in Te Aroha suffering from concussion, while ilrs. Eva Evans and Miss Hazel Dora Evans were brought to the Waikato Hospital. Mrs. Evans suffered a broken leg, and Miss Evans a broken arm. The occupants of the other car escaped with only slight injuries. Both cars were extensively damaged.
