TASMAN CROSSING
AWARUA'S FLIGHT TO-DAY Women aro for the first time in the majority among the passengers who are hooked to travel to Sydney on the Tasman Empire Airways flving-boat Awarua to-day. They comprise seven of the 13 persons who aro making the trip. Commanded by Captain .T. W. Burgess, the Awarua is scheduled to leavo the base at six o'clock this morning. The passengers aro:—Mrs. M. E. Barlow, Mrs. M. Allen, Mrs. E. L. Ridd, Mrs. M. E. Warren, Mrs. B. E. Taaffe, Mrs. P. Turner, Miss M. Taafle, Messrs. P. E. Edwards, W. A. Taaffe, V. C. Matthews, S. Barclay, P. Turner and V. J, Burrow.
