Forecast: ■ Moderate westerly winds in the north, light variables in central districts and graduallv freshening north-easterlies in - the south. Seas slight or moderate. "Weather mainly fair, with somewhat , milder, temperatures. Further local drizzle or fo£ however in Canterbury and Otago, and a few scattered showers also in the northern half of the iSorth Island.
