THE METROPOLE
An unusual item in dance programmes was presented at the Metropole on Saturday evening, when Mr. Lew Jones, director of the orchestra, featured a piano solo, Liszt's paraph rase of "Rigoletto." His fine performance was greeted with hearty applause, and it was followed by a special orchestral arrangement of the composition played by his band of musicians. Old-time and modern dances comprise.d an attractive repertoire, and with show songs, Monte Carlo competitions and supper the evening was pleasantly spent.
