ARCHITECTURE DEGREE
FOURTH WOMAN TO QUALIFY The younger daughter of Mr. Justice Northcroft and Mrs. Nortlicroft, of Christchurch, Miss Nancy Northcroft, received official advice this week that she had passed the final stage for the degree of bachelor of architecture. Her success also entitles her to become an associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Miss Northcroft studied at Auckland University College, the only university college in the Dominion that has a chair of architecture. She has the distinction of being the only woman architect in the South Island,' and the fourth to qualify in the Dominion.
