LEAGUE CODE
LATE TACKLING MENACE DECISION OF REFEREES Acting on a recommendation from tho appointment board the Auckland Rugby League Referees' Association last' evening instructed referees to fully penalise late tackling. The chairman, Mr. L. E. Bull, added that clubs would not further bo notified of the serious view taken by the association of this offence, which was unnecessarily tho cause of too much injury. Tho co-operation of lino umpires was asked in the mutter. The resignations of Messrs. A. 0. Campney and R. L. Marrick were received with regret.
