FLIGHT OF AWARTJA JOURNEY. FROM SYDNEY ARRIVAL -THIS AFTERNOON The final stage of the delivery flight from England of the Awarua. the second flying-boat for the Tasman air service, will be' undertaken to-day. It was thought earlier that the Tasman crossing might have been made yesterday. but departure from Sydney was apparently delayed for a day., Advice received from Sydney .last night stated that the flying-boat, commanded by Captain Oscar Garden, is expected to take off at six o'clock this morning, New Zealand time, and it was estimated that the machine would land on the Waitemata at about three o'clock this afternoon. However, actual flying time will be subject to the winds find conditions encountered' oil the trip. _ : More than a few Aucklntiders gained the impression that the Awarua had arrived when they saw lier sister-ship Aoi:earoa in the air yesterday afternoon.
