PENTATHLON MEETING LYNNDALE CLUB'S EVENTS JUNIOR DISCUS RECORD Several fine performances were registered at the 'Lynndale Amateur Athletic Club's annual pentathlon meeting on Saturday. In the junior discus event, M. Hughes created a new club record, his distance being 77ft. lin. Tho senior pentathlon was won by E. Olson, with 2742 points, and the junior bv M. Hughes, 2898 points. A feature of the events was the fine performance of D. H. Carow in the senior broad jump, his distance being 21ft sin, bettering the previous record established in 1026 by llin.
