RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Eight churches were represented last night at the first of a scries of gatherings of Sunday school teachers and Bible class workers to be addressed by Dr. J. D. Salmond, of Dunedin, director of youth work of the Presbyterian Church*of New Zealand. Dr. Salmond's subject was "Modern Educational Methods in Religious Education," and he emphasised that Sunday school teachers must be prepared to examine the methods being adopted in public schools and to make use of them.
