THE NEW METROPOLE
Descriptive "Mill Billy", songs were highlights of the musical programme presented by Mr. Sammy Lee's Amerieanadians at the New Motropolc Cabaret on Saturday night. Character costumes worn by the players added to the animated effect. "She'll Be Coming Hound the Mountains" and "lied River Valley" were included in the series and the throng of dancers crowded around the dais and demanded encores. Other successful numbers during the entertainment were "Good Evening," specially arranged by Mr. Bob Reid. and sung by Miss Joy Rovello; and "Reaching lor the Moon," featured by Mr. Neil Thurgate, with orchestral accompaniment.
