Grafton scored 25t> against Eden on Ko. .2 wlckot at Eden Park, whllo Ponsonby-Balmornl scored 224 against Y.M.C.A. on No. 3 wicket, Y.M.C.A. scoring 13 without loss at stumps. Two centuries woro scored, H. T. Pearson, playing for Middlemore. 110, and A. V. Wiles, Ponsonby-Bul-moral, 110 not out. In spite of tho good scpres thcro were some sound bowling figures returned. I.
