DECLINE AT ROTORUA [BY TKLKG HA I'll —OWN CORK KSrONI>KNT] ROTORUA, A decrease of approximately 20 per cent on Master attendances at the Blue and Ward Baths was recorded this year. In contrast to these figures, however, the takings from the sports areas were about 10 per cent higher than for the same period last year, in spite of the fact that fine weather prevailed on both occasions. The total number of swimmers admitted to the Blue Baths this year was 3930, compared with 5618 in 1939 and 5979 in 1938. At the Ward Baths 2«'{Bo paid for admission, against 2704 ill 1939 and 2174 in 1938. Including spectators admitted to the Blue Baths the total number of persons using the baths was 7999. compared with 10,566 in 1.939 and 10,251 in 1938.
