100 DEGREES IN MELBOURNE AN OUTSTANDING MONTH (Received March 30, 1.10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, .March 20 When the temperature rose in Melbourne City to 100.'2 degrees to-day, it established two heat records for March. So high a temperature so late in March has never before been recorded, and it was also the sixth day in March in which the reading lias been 100 degrees and over. No change is likely to-morrow. It may even bo hotter, so that March goes out in a blaze of heat.
