Northern Tour of A. A. Party
A tour of inspection of the highways and signposting system of the lower and middle North Auckland districts is to be carried out by officials ol' the Automobile Association (Auckland) next week. The opportunity will be taken for Mr. J. Park, vice-president, to address meetings of members at various centres, where also the association's coloured motion pictures of Europe. Britain, Canada and California, photographed by the touring manager, Mr. I'. E. Champtaloup, on his recent travels, will be screened.
After a call :it Wliangarei the party will hold meetings at Maungaturoto on Monday, Dargaville on Tuesday. Ruawai on Wednesday, Waipu on Thursday and Wellsford on Friday., During the tour Mr. Champtaloup will give attention to safety first matters, and school children in the districts visited will be afforded an opportunity of seeing the safety-first film, together with educational pictures of the Auckland Province and a European travel film.
