The following conversation took place at an English village school. In the class were children from the larger towns, sent to the country because of the danger of air-raids. Inspector, to evacuee: "What ships fought the pocket battleship, my boy?" "Cruisers." "Good. "Who manned them?" "Crews, sir," "And what drives them along?" "Screws, sir." "You're a smart boy. Where are you evacuated from?" "Crewe, sir."
