WELFARE APPEAL
£21,000 NOW CONTRIBUTED Contributions in the metropolitan area to the fighting services welfare appeal launched by the Y.M.C.A. and the Salvation Army have now reached a total of approximately £21.000. The following donations were acknowledged last night:—Staff Arthur Yates and Company, Limited. £95: Hill and Plummer, Limited, £SO; Warkworth borough collection, £3O; C. L. Innes and Company, Limited. £25; Cooke and Company, Limited, £ls; E.F.. Wairiki Club and Anonymous, Pearl Casing Company. New Zealand, Limited Paerata collection, £lO each.
