ACCLIMATISATION WORK
OFFICERS AT CAMBRIDGE [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Thursday Good prospects for the coming shooting season were reported at a meeting of the Cambridge branch of the Auckland Acclimatisation Society. Pheasants had been liberated over a wide area of* the Cambridge district. The election of officers resulted as follows, ; —Patron, Mr. H. Hoche; president. Mr. A Webster; vice-presidents. Messrs. T. K. Butler R. Xewcombe, J. Tucker; secretarytreasurer, .Mr. W. R. Edwards; committee, Messrs. R. J- Crosbic, A. E. Hill, J. Greenhalgh. C. Scholes, A. H. Xorris, L. Holmes; delegates to Auckland council, Messrs. A. Webster, A. E. Hill; auditor, Mr. W. Wilkinson.
