STOP-WORK MEETING
BLUFF OYSTER WORKERS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] INVERCARGILL. Sunday Men engaged in the oyster industry at Bluff will hold a stop-work meeting to-morrow morning to determine what action should lie taken if certain demands made by them are not met. Because of the stop-work meeting, the oyster boats will not he taken to the beds in Eoveaux Strait to-morrow. Representatives of tho employers and employees, and members of the Fish Advisory Committee, met in conference at Bluff during the week-end. No official information about the proceedings was made available to the press. It is understood, however, that the conference was arranged to try to agree to the conditions of the new award.
