HUTS FOR TRAMPERS
PUBLIC WORKS TRANSFER [BY TELKGKAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] "WELLINGTON, Saturday With the concurrence of the Minister of Public "Works, the Hon. K.iSemple, the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, proposes the transference of a number of huts, 110 longer needed by Public Works employees, to the Physical Welfare Branch of his department for hiking and group travel purposes. The huts already mentioned include Homer and Eglinton Valley and some in the vicinity of cities. The idea is to provide facilities for tramping and motoring parties along scenic routes.
