Notice Is hereby given that at a S'pecial Meeting of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board, held on Wednesday, the <sth day of March, 1940, the following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at n Special Meeting of the Board, to be held in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Auckland, on WKDNESDAY, the 3rd day of April, 1010, at Noon, viz:— "That the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board, in exercise of the powers vested In it in that behalf by tho Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908, the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1920, the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1020, and their respective amendments, and Section 4'.\ of the Local Legislation Act, 19K9, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve by Special Order — (1) To raise a Special Loan of and to borrow tho sum of JESOOO for tho following purposes:— £ (a) To provide further funds for the expenses of investigating matters incidental to a proposied seworage and stormwater drainage schemo for the Auckland metropolitan district ~ ~ .. 1500 (b) To provide funds for tho carrying out of watercourse improvement works . . 2500 (c) To repay an advance made " to the Board by tho Dopartment of Labour .. 1000
