Mrs. J. A. 0. Allum returned by train on Saturday after a week's visit to Wellington. Miss Nora Alexander, of Heme Bay, returned last week from a year's visit to England, Mrs. Pl Grenfell, of Brassy Road, Birkenhead, has returned from a visit to Wellington. . Mrs. W. Wintle, of St. Stephen's Avenue, Pa.rnell, has returned from a holiday at Helensville. Mrs. Trevor Brett, Canterbury Place, Parnell, has returned from a holiday at Rotorua and Tauranga. Mrs. S. (J. English, a member of the Dominion executive of the League of Mothers, left on Friday evening for Wellington to attend the Dominion council meeting of the league. Mrs. Harvey Turner, provincial president of the League of Mothers, and Mrs. W. C. Utting, secretary, left last evening for Wellington, where they will attend the Dominion council meeting of the league. Miss Grace McDonald, Senwick Avenue, Milford, will leave by the Monterey next Friday on a visit to Australia and Tasmania". Until her departure, she will be the guest of Miss Gladys Williams, Esmonde Road, Takapuna. Mrs. Charles Harley Nott, of Suva, Fiji, who, with her children, has been spending several weeks' holiday at Oneroa, Waiheke, has returned to Auckland and is staying with her mother, Mrs. J. B. MncFarlane, Gillies Avenue, Kpsom.
