Ohristensen —Herman.—The engagement is announced between Roy Thomas, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. of Parua Bay. Whangarei, and Bertha Marie, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. X. Herman, of Waipu. Ourrie—Beasley.—The engagement is announced between James Haig, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. D. Currie, of Parawai, Thames, and Joan Russell, elder daughter of Mr, and Mrs. H. Beasley, of Puriri, Thames.
