FIGHTING FAMILY
SIX IN SAME UNIT Serving together in an artillery battery somewhere in the South of England are six members of a Southampton family named West. Four are brothers, and the other two sons of the eldest brother. The four brothers are Lance-ser-geants Frank West and William West, and Gunners Jim West and Bob West. The sons of Sergeant Frank West are Gunners Dennis and Ronald West. When Dennis was married recently brother Ronald was best man, and the father and three uncles, all in uniform, formed a guard of honour.
