CENTENNIAL DISPLAY CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS MORE FRIESIAN EXHIBITS [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Friday With entries in all sections well up to those of previous years, the Waikato Central Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Centennial Show opened today at Cambridge in ideal weather. In the horse and cattle sections the entries are well in advance of former years, there being 123 competitors in the hack classes, and 128 in the hunters. Friesian exhibits at 107 show a substantial increase on last year. The North Island Friesian championships have been allotted to Cambridge this year. •Judging of dairy cattle, draught horses and home industries sections commenced this morning, the championship awards being as follows: Champion Pedigree Dairy Cow, any breed. —R. G. Mcintosh's Bonovoroe 108, 1; Mrs. H. V. Leaning's Totnra C. P. Parma and P. Bremer's entry, equal, Champion Pedigree Yearling Heifer, any breed.—P. Bremer's Glenhope Tilly, 1; A. Moreland and Sons' Beachtands Marionette, 2; W. Louden's Arrowville Ormsby Maid, 3. Pedigree Jerseys.—Cow: A. C. Lovelock's Glenmore Sparkle. Reserve: A. Moreland and Sons' Beachland's Happy Days.
