DOMINION CONFERENCE [BT TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON. Friday A Wanganui remit that the conference urge upon the Government the necessity of adopting a more equitable method ■of contracting for the supply of bread to public hospitals and Government institutions than provided by the regulations at present in force, was passed by the annual conference of the New Zealand Master Bakers and Pastrycooks' Association in Wellington this week. Another remit passed, also from Wanganui, urged that a uniform increase in the delivery charge for a 21b. loaf be made in the regulations. The following officers were elected: — President, Mr. W. S. G. Rennie (Wanganui); vice-presidents, Mr. Geo. Harker (Greymouth) and Mr. A. H. Yarrow (Manaia); executive, Messrs. J. A. Connor (Auckland), F. Ores well (Wellington), F. H. Hawker (Christchurch), H. E. Fairey (Palmerston North) and J. F. Frew (Mosgiel). At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Master Bakers and Pastrycooks' Industrial Union of Employers, officers elected were: —President, Mr. E. W. F. Gohns (Wanganui); vicepresident, Mr. A. H. Yarrow (Manaia); executive, Messrs. J. A. Connor (Auckland), F. Creswell (Wellington). F. H. Hawker (Christchurch), and H. E. Fairey (Palmerston North).
