STEPS IN AUSTEALIA SURVEY OF POSSIBILITIES LONG-RANGE PLAN EXPECTED By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received March 6, 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, March (! Australia's exchange position, particularly that of dollar exchange, will be reviewed at Canberra next week. The Government is expected to embark on a long-range plan which will involve about twice the volume of exchange economies as was effected by the import restriction system last year.
The plan covers items such as petrol, motor-cars, fiims, raw tobacco, timber, radio valves and machinery.
