Entries were in excess of last year's, which were also a record. The main feature was the national chilled beef championship. An encouraging aspect was the keen competition in the Ayrshire section, which has been rather neglected of recent years. Awards were: National Chilled Beef Competition.—J. E. Runinoy, 1; F. K. Thomas, 2; 0. G-lynn, 3. Horses.—Champion hack: Mrs. M. E. Roan's Gloncoe. Draughts, mare or filly: N. E. Mlkklesen's entry. Entire: R. H. Jones. Pony: Mrs. M. E. Roan's Micky. Cattle. —Grade cow: A.
