Mrs. M. o'Connell, of Waitomo Caves, is at the Central Hotel. Miss Jo.yce Steere, of S.vmonds Street, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. J. Johnston, of St. Heliers Bay, returned this week from a visit to Wellington. Mrs. G. H. Metcalfe, of St. Heliers Bay, has returned from a short visit to Wellington. Mrs. Ronald Seavill has returned to Hamilton after visiting her sister, Mrs. 11. Hose, Remuera Road. Mrs. Eric Clayton-Greene, of Hamilton, is spending a month's holiday at Islington Bay, Rangitoto Island. Mrs. Ralph Sleigli, of Dunedin, will arrive in Auckland next week on a visit to Mrs. Baring Brabant, Remuera Road Mrs A- JMcCaffery, of Auckland, and her daughter, Mrs. G. Wright, left by train yesterday for a fortnight's visit to Wellington. Miss Molly Mitchelson, Armidale Road, Remuera, has returned from Paeroa, where she was the guest of Mrs. M. Peach. Mrs. George Woodroofe, of Te Awaliuitii, has left Auckland for Rarotonga, where her husband will take up a teaching appointment. Mrs. Albert Barnett, of Broughton Street, Gore, is visiting Auckland and is the guest of Mrs. Harry Purser, Lawrence Street, Herne Bay. Mrs. W. G. Kingsbury, Mrs. L. G. Emeus, Miss M. B. Fitt (Wellington), Mrs. D. G. Sawers (Lower Hutt), Mrs. H. West (W r hangarei), Mrs. J. M. Horton, Mrs. -Norton (Hamilton), Miss E. E. Blunt (Sydney) are at the Station Hotel. "Customs and Conditions of Norway" was the subject of an address by Mrs. J. Tennant at a meeting of the Women's Progress Club on Wednesday. Mrs. Sadgrove sang Norwegian songs and items were given by the Temple trio. The vice-president, Miss I. Rutherford, presided.
