BUS AND CAR COLLIDE
TWO WOMEN INJURED ONE IN SERIOUS CONDITION Two women were injured when the motor-car in which they were passengers was involved in a collision with a bus at the intersection, of Victoria and Church Streets, Onehunga, shortly after seven o'clock last evening. The women were Mrs. Nita Kerr Thompson, of 35 Amaru Road, Onehunga, and Miss Elsie Myra Hatfield, aged 21, of 11S Grey Street. Onehunga. Both are employed at the Onehunga woollen mills. Suffering from concussion, they were taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance.
None of the passengers in the bus. vyhich was going to Te Papapa, was injured, and only minor damage to the mudguards and radiator was caused. The condition of Mrs. Thompson late last night was reported to be serions. Miss Hatfield returned. to her home after treatment. *
