Our Loving Heavenly Father, we bless Thee that Thou dost V not only call us to be "good soldiers of Christ," but dost arm and armour lis for the conflict against the world, the flesh, and the devil. May we "put on the whole armour of God; the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness." aiid. "wielding the - v sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God," press forward; and, as Thou - hast provided no armour for the back, ----- let us never know retreat. For Christ a j sake. Amen. ■./ '
