Pursuant to Section 15 of " The Finance Act No. 2, loa(i," the Board proposes to raise the Loan by Special Order, and public notification is hereby given that a Poll of Ratepayers is required if not less than 5 p.c. Public notice is heroby given that the following Resolution, passed at- a Meeting of the Waitemata Electric-Power Board, held on Monday, the 10l li day of February, 1940. and intended to operate as a Special Order, will Meeting to be held on MONDAY, the ISth dav of March, 1940, at 2 p.m., at the Board's Offices, 81 Albert Street, Auckland: — RESOLUTION: "That the Waitemata Electric-Power Board, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on it by I lie Local Bodies Loans Act, 1920,' 'The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1920, Section 15 of 'The Statutes Amendment Act, 1938,' and all other powers and authorities enabling - it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve to raise, by way of Special-Order, a Special Loan of £SOOO (five thousand pounds), to bo known as , the WAITEMATA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD FINANCIAL ADVANCES LOAN, 1910, £SOOO, in order to provide funds for tho purposes mentioned in Section 118 of 'The Electric-Power ' Board.? " That the said Special Loan or any part thereof, .together with interest thereon, shall be Vepaid by .equal aggregate yearly or half-yearly instalments extending over the term of- the Loan: "That no portion of the interest on, or the cost of raising, the said Special Loan shall be paid out of ihe Loan."
