DISPUTE WITH MINERS
GENERAL STRIKE THREAT AUSTRALIAN DEADLOCK (Received February 26, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 26 Delegates representing the combined mining unions decided to-day that unless a conference with the mineowners to discuss the miners' claims is arranged before the expiration on Thursday of the general strike ultimatum, aggregate stop-work meetings shall be called to give effect to the ultimatum.
