Winds. —Strong winds from a northerly quarter, rising to gale force in exposed positions. A change to southerly directions' is probable to-morrow over tl\o southern half of the South Island. ' Seas. —New Zealand waters: Bather rough to rough.- Eastern Tasman Sea: Strong northerly winds to gales, but with a southerly change advancing from the south. Seas rough to high. Weather. —Becoming stormy and unsettled generally, with widespread rain or drizzle. Heavy falls are probable in central provinces, possibly with some flooding.
